Slow Cooker Caramelized Onions
These are great to keep in the freezer to use when a recipe calls for caramelized onions and you don’t have the extra 30 minutes to caramelize the onions.

Ingredients
- 4 onions sliced about 1/8” inch thick
- 2 tablespoons Oil (olive or vegetable)
Instructions
- Put onions and oil into slow cooker insert. Mix until onions are coated in oil.
- Cook on low for 10 hours. Can leave the lid off for the last hour to crisp up the onions.
- Use in your favorite recipes that call for caramelized onions or freeze to use later.
