Dee’s Shrimp and Macaroni Salad

Dee Fink’s delicious recipe. See also her recipe for Shrimp Dip.

Ingredients

  • 1 – 1½ lbs. cooked shrimp, cleaned and chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ – 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 teaspoon horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon Hunts chili sauce (or you can use 2 Tbsp. premade cocktail sauce and omit the horseradish sauce)
  • ¼ teaspoon celery salt
  • Tabasco – a couple of good shakes
  • 2 cups uncooked macaroni

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay, horseradish, chili sauce, celery salt and tabasco. Add the may and mix well, then add the shrimp.
  2. Cook the macaroni according to the package directions, drain and run under cold water. Drain completely.
  3. Fold the macaroni into the shrimp mixture.

Refrigerate for 4-5 hours before serving.
