Nanny’s Pumpkin Pie
Nanny Wall was famed for her pies. This was one of her husband’s (Forrest Wall) favorites. She used either squash or pumpkin in it. I aspired to be a better pie maker when my dad chose hers over mine at a Thanksgiving dinner. I had even used her recipe! – Jeanne
