Sheri’s Chocolate Bundt Cake
My friend Sheri makes the best cakes, and this is a recipe from her collection. It’s wonderfully moist and chocolatey. It’s often requested as a birthday cake (as here for Kelly’s 18th). – Terry
Ingredients
- 1 box devils food cake mix
- 1 (3 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
In a mixing bowl, beat together until smooth the cake mix, pudding mix (make sure it’s instant pudding!!), eggs, oil, warm water and sour cream.
Stir chocolate chips into batter. Pour into the Bundt pan and bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
