Blonde Brownies
Another classic that I got from my mother’s recipe box and made when I was a kid just learning how to bake. – Kathy
Ingredients
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- ⅔ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup hot water with ½ tsp baking soda added
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 12oz package chocolate chips
- ½ cup nuts, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease and 8×8 baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix in order given. Can use a had mixer.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
