Blueberry Crumble Pie

Some of these ingredients for a pie may seem a little odd but the final product is incredibly delicious. – Kathy

Ingredients

  • 5 cups fresh or frozen blueberries (thawed)
  • 1 (9”) graham cracker crust
  • ¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 Tbs all-purpose flour
  • 1½ tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp grated lemon rind
  • 1 (8 oz) carton sour cream, can be low-fat
  • ¼ cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbs butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.  Place blueberries in crust. 
  2. Combine brown sugar, flour, vanilla, lemon zest and sour cream in a bowl; mix well.  Spread mixture over blueberries. 
  3. Combine bread crumbs, sugar and butter in a small bowl; stir well.  Sprinkle over sour cream mixture. 
  4. Bake for 40 minutes or until set and crumbs are lightly browned.  Let cool 1 hour on a wire rack.
