Celebration Sticks

I have made these for the holidays for many years to give to neighbors and friends. Always a hit! -Elizabeth

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 12 8-inch pretzel rods
  • Colored sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler. 
  2. Dunk the pretzels halfway into the chocolate, then roll in a bowl of sprinkles. 
  3. Dry on waxed paper.  Makes 12.

Note

  • For the holidays I have used crushed peppermint candies, various toasted and chopped nuts, coconut flakes, and toffee bits as a coating. Tailor the toppings to whatever holiday you are making these for, such as red, white and blue sprinkles for July 4!
  • I will often “double” dunk the sticks. After the sticks have dried after the first coating, dunk, roll and dry one more time. Double the goodness!
