Celebration Sticks
I have made these for the holidays for many years to give to neighbors and friends. Always a hit! -Elizabeth
Ingredients
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 8-inch pretzel rods
- Colored sprinkles
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler.
- Dunk the pretzels halfway into the chocolate, then roll in a bowl of sprinkles.
- Dry on waxed paper. Makes 12.
Note
- For the holidays I have used crushed peppermint candies, various toasted and chopped nuts, coconut flakes, and toffee bits as a coating. Tailor the toppings to whatever holiday you are making these for, such as red, white and blue sprinkles for July 4!
- I will often “double” dunk the sticks. After the sticks have dried after the first coating, dunk, roll and dry one more time. Double the goodness!
