Deviled Ham

As a kid I LOVED the deviled ham that came in the small can with the devil symbol on it. To this day I still love deviled ham but wanted an updated version. Found this recipe from Bon Appetit and haven’t looked back! – Elizabeth

Ingredients

  • 8oz country ham or good deli ham, coarsely chopped
  • 4oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoons whole grain mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
  • 1 scallion, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh flat-leaf parsley, packed
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pulse ham in a food processor until roughly chopped. Add parsley and green onion and pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Transfer ham mixture to a large bowl and mix in cream cheese, mayonnaise, hot sauce, mustard and cayenne, if using.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Best if refrigerated overnight or 24 hours before serving.
