Impossible Quiche
A long-time Soule family recipe. This quiche makes its own crust. Leave out the ham/bacon to make it vegetarian. – Jeanne
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup biscuit mix
- ½ cup melted butter
- 1½ cup milk
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup swiss or sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup ham or bacon, cooked and chopped
- green pepper, mushrooms, onion, sautéed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Blend together eggs, biscuit mix, butter, milk, salt and pepper. Pour into greased 9-inch pie pan.
- Sprinkle cheese, meat and other goodies over top and press below surface with the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until done.
Note
- You can use a variety of vegetables in this recipe. Just make sure they are pre-cooked..
