Jeera Rice
Ingredients
- 4 tsp ghee or a neutral oil (canola or vegetable)
- 4 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 cups cooked basmati rice
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
Instructions
- Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add ghee/oil and cumin seeds and cook 30 seconds.
- Add cooked rice and salt and mix gently.
- Add cilantro and mix gently.
Note
- This is the rice to serve with Malai Kofta, although would be delicious with any complimentary main dish.
