Zesty Italian Slow Cooker Chicken

I usually end up putting my chicken in while it’s totally or half frozen, so you could probably cook a little less if thawed. I typically serve this over cooked quinoa or rice with a side of vegetables. -Shelby

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. Italian salad dressing
  • 3-4 chicken breasts
  • 1 can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Layer chicken in bottom of slow cooker.
  2. Pour on the Italian dressing, lifting the chicken to let dressing underneath.
  3. Drain and pour tomatoes evenly on top of chicken.
  4. Top with onions.
  5. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or until chicken is cooked and easily falls apart.
