Almond Crescent Cookies

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2½ cups flour
- 1 cup almond flour (can substitute ground almonds)
- salt, optional
- ¼ cup powdered sugar for sprinkling
INSTRUCTIONS
Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the extracts and mix.
Add the flour and almond flour. Mix thoroughly.
Roll tablespoons of dough into small balls, about an inch in diameter, then form into crescent shapes. Place onto parchment paper and bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown. (I bake for 15 minutes on lower oven shelf, then 3-4 more minutes on top shelf.)
Dust with powdered sugar.
