Bacon Wrapped Dates
Had these at a party and just about ate the entire platter. They are beyond delicious and incredibly easy to make. A Christmas Eve favorite.

- Medjool Dates
- Bacon
INSTRUCTIONS
Get moist, plump medjool dates with no cracks in the skin and pit them by making a small slit with a paring knife. As for the bacon, I prefer Boar’s Head bacon or any other really good quality bacon. Makes a difference in the taste!
Each date is wrapped in half a slice of bacon and baked in a foil-lined sheet pan at 350° for about 15 minutes, or until the bacon rendered much of its fat and begins to crisp. Sometimes toothpicks are necessary to hold the bacon in place.
