Blueberry Crumble Pie

Some of these ingredients for a pie may seem a little odd but the final product is incredibly delicious.

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 (9”) graham cracker crust
  • ¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla
  • ¼ teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 1 (8 oz) carton sour cream, can be low-fat
  • ¼ cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375° F.  Place blueberries in crust.  Combine brown sugar, flour, vanilla, lemon and sour cream in a bowl; mix well.  Spread mixture over blueberries. 

Combine bread crumbs, sugar and butter in a small bowl; stir well.  Sprinkle over sour cream mixture.  Bake for 40 minutes or until set and crumbs are lightly browned.  Let cool 1 hour on a wire rack.
