Corn Sesame Sauté

I’ve made this recipe at Christmas time for years even though it would be excellent year-round.  An excellent way to fancy-up basic corn.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pkg. (10 oz) frozen corn
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • ⅛ teaspoon pepper


INSTRUCTIONS

Cook and stir corn and all ingredients over medium heat until butter is melted.  Cover and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.

Serves 4
