Cranberry Pudding

 


INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups raw cranberries
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

Butter Sauce
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¾ cup cream

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375°.   Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.  Add to the dry ingredients cranberries, milk, and butter.  Mix well and bake in 8” square pan for 1 hour.  Serve warm with butter sauce.

Butter sauce: combine butter, sugar and cream in a small saucepan.  Bring to a boiling point and cook for 10 minutes.
