Dee's Shrimp and Macaroni Salad

Dee Fink's delicious recipe and a favorite of Jesse's. See also her recipe for Shrimp Dip.


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 - 1½ lbs. shrimp, cleaned and chopped
  • 8 oz. (1 cup) mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ - 1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tsp. horseradish
  • 1 Tbsp. Hunts chile sauce (or you can use 2 Tbsp. premade cocktail sauce and omit the horseradish sauce)
  • ¼ tsp. celery salt
  • Tabasco - a couple of good shakes

  • 2 cups uncooked macaroni

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix the spices and sauces together very well before adding the mayo. Add the chopped shrimp.

Cook the macaroni according to the package directions, then drain and run under cold water. Drain completely. Fold the macaroni into the shrimp mixture.

Refrigerate for 4-5 hours before serving.
